Lost in Space Robot project:

Before there was an Alien Graphics it was just me Paul Beatty a hobbyist on a mission to build the coolest robot of all time robot B9 from Lost in Space. I started by purchasing a torso from an online site known as the B9 builders club. I spent a lot of time and money collecting the arms and tread section and fabricating several of the parts myself. Then the worst thing that can happen to a hobbyist took place! Yeah! I got married. Now my new found duties as husband and father left me with no time to work on my beloved B9 project.

Now jump ahead ten years to March 2011. I now am the owner of Alien Graphics a some what successful design business in Louisville Kentucky. I was working on a new direction to take in my life and had decided that getting back into my hobbies would be great. I had already produced a model building video and was working on a resin kit release and had decided to become one of the vendors at Wonderfest. My work load was taking its tole when I had another great idea. Finish the LIS robot and take him to Wonderfest. With barely six weeks till the show I would have to get really busy. I started looking for all the parts. Over the years several boxes had been moved and stored all over the house. I was about to give up! Finally I found several parts here and there in the garage and was able to get started. What you see here on this page is after about twenty trips to the hardware store and about $300.00 in supplies. If I can get the head put together I think I just might make it....... Keep your fingers crossed for me...
